Acorn Maltone Ltd.

History.
The company was formed in 1980 and run as a family business until May 2000 when it was purchased by the existing owners. One year ago the company moved to new dedicated premises and increased the factory size to twelve thousand square meters with additional room to grow into if necessary.

Primary Activity.
The principal activity is the manufacturing and supply of labels on rolls or sheets. The company has always focused on trade clients. The new owners place an emphasis on partnership with it’s customers. The market is competitive and they seek to meet the challenge with excellent prices and service.

Recent Installations.
Acorn Maltone has recently installed an all new 330mm wide 8 colour flexo press to complement their existing 3 colour, 6 colour and 7 colour presses. They has also installed a new 330 wide slitter inspection machine. The press installation was designed to give trade clients extra options on colour and width as most trade houses only have presses up to 260mm wide.

Principal Markets.
The company is active in the food, healthcare and industrial label markets. Also producing special products such as continuous card, header cards, special plastic products and blank labels.

Pre Press and Design.
Acorn Maltone has a comprehensive in house pre-press studio with plate-making on site. The department allows them to support their trade clients with competitive origination costs and this also helps them provide fast turnaround in today’s deadline driven market.
